Leather Specialties under new management
Many of you knew Tom Black, (son of Larry Black) who ran LSCo when Larry retired. Tom had a vision of growing the company while continuing the tradition of service and quality his father established over more than 50 years. At that time, I came on board as lead craftsman for LSCo. In the last two years,Tom, both a very private and stoic individual, encountered serious health issues. Despite meeting his diagnosis head-on, cancer claimed yet another life, one that was very special to us.
I am honored to take the company forward. A little perspective on me and my history with the Black family: In 1970, when Larry first moved to Atlanta, I became one of his first students there. He was and is still my teacher, as well as mentor, colleague and a dear friend. He taught me the craft of leather working when Tom took ownership of the company and Is still consulting with LSCo.
I pledge to carry on the traditions and legacy established by Larry, Tom and LSCo. I appreciate your patronage to LSCo and stand ready to provide the highest quality of product and service
